Can’t believe we’re only a few days away from FINISHING our song a week project.  Patrick and I got together yesterday to plot out some of our next steps and I’m excited about what’s just around the corner.  Can’t tell you just yet though!  But in the meantime I thought I’d post a sneak peek of our last song in the song  a week project.  Still a lot of work left on it, but here’s a little sample.

We’re always open to suggestions for our songs.  Thanks again to Tyler, John, Kyle and Lisa for the ideas and input last week for “A Waste.”  This week we’re a little more ahead of the curve so we’d love some help.  In order to keep everyone on the same page we decided on a theme or direction for this song.  We’d like the topic to be along the lines of social justice and the moral obligation to help those in need.  Post your ideas / thoughts / suggestions in the comments.  They can be lyrical in nature or more of just general ramblings.

So just to get things rolling… what do you think of when you think of injustice?

It’s Friday!  And we’ve got a little treat to tide you over for the weekend until Monday.  That’s right we might actually have a song done BEFORE Sunday night.  And its not a cover!  This could be our favorite song that we’ve recorded so far and we are so excited that we couldn’t wait to share it.  Come back Monday for the full thing!
