"Drummer Boy"
- click for lyrics

Christmas is in 2 weeks!!! Wow! So, we’ve decided it’s only appropriate to grace this page with some good ol’ Christmas music (done “two seconds away” style, of course.) About 3 weeks ago we asked for requests for favorite Christmas music and although we can’t do them all, here is one that Carolyn requested.

Tim had a lot of fun with all the percussion on this. We busted out some old school vintage drum machine sounds since we don't actually have drums. This is also the first time Patrick busted out the hammered dulcimer. Enjoy!

Must say, this is a great take on an over-remade carol. You guys gave it a unique character, a long way from the typical chorus-filled, single-snare march feel I hear too often. I love it.

Love it! Little Drummer Boy is total nostalgia for me...one of my favorites! Please give us MORE!

Some of the drum beats remind me of the old Miami Vice. What does that mean? I love your rum pa pum pums.

Keep 'em coming. We love them!

I totally hear that! I can see the speed boat rounding the corner with don Johnson decked out in white on white at the helm!

It got off to a slow start, but I really like this. The interplay of the dulcimer and the cheesy drum machine is just perfect. I really, really hope this isn't the only Christmas song you guys recorded though, if only because I've been trying to imagine how amazing it would be to hear Silent Night, or O Come, O Come Emmanuel in your style(s).

You're right, that was redundant. ALL drum machines are cheesy.

This is 100% without a doubt my favorite Christmas song that we've released so far.

That's easy to say since it's our very first one!
